We will miss Grandma, but are happy that she lived a full and beautiful 97 years. My favorite story is when she got up on the counter (when she was well into her seventies) and played "Billy Goat's Gruff" with Jeff and Barb. I hope that I enjoy a long life with a family as wonderful as hers.
I accepted a position at the University (can't seem to shake the place) as Manager of the Center on Infant Mental Health & Development. The center is transitioning now and I'm exciting to help take it in a new direction. Check out the website. So where does that leave the mental health of MY infant (I guess he's really a toddler now...). Jeff resigned his position to stay home with Atticus. My little man couldn't be in better hands. Jeff has the patience of a saint when it comes to playing outside for hours and hours and hours. Atticus is lucky to have such a wonderful daddy. THANKS JEFF!!!!
Finally, we went on a long weekend trip to Southern California. As we left Seattle it was sunny and nearing 60. When we touched down in Long Beach it was pouring down rain and cold. The weather perked up, though, and by Tuesday it was 79 degrees. We mostly hung out at Disneyland, a very guilty pleasure of mine, but also made it to Huntington Beach and got to visit with Walter and Allison. Here are a couple of choice pics

Brooke I MISS YOU!!!! Sorry to have not gotten your call, we were in LA and it was a crazy weekend. I can't believe you're gone. Seattle will never be the same...
We will definitely have to come to Boise once you are settled in.
