Bad Parenting Moments
- Atticus is in the back yard riding his tricycle and asked me where his helmet was. Ummmmmm..... I guess I didn't think that he'd need a helmet in the back yard when he can't even really pedal yet, but I was wrong! Thanks to Nana for buying him one for Easter!
- Jeff and I sometimes put the kids in the car near naptime, let them sleep and go to Dairy Queen and eat ice cream while they are sleeping. We have to drive all the way to Bellevue or Renton, as there are no DQ's in Seattle.
- If I'm tired, I have no problem letting Atticus put on the Disney channel and zone out to the Wiggles. I will NOT let him the Doodlebops. I don't like the wiggles, but I can't STAND the Doodlebops.
- Not sure if this goes up here or down below.. Atti's favorite holiday is Halloween and he can't wait to see scary skeletons again!
- Atticus has creepy doll heads in his toy box. They were originally Halloween project materials, later practical jokes between Jeff and I and now, toys!
- One of Atti's favorite foods is broccoli. He has even picked it over cupcakes!
- When we didn't have the right diapers one time (he wanted the MICKEY ones, not the other kind- who let him start watching TV anyway??), Jeff whipped out a marker and drew a mickey mouse head on it. Genius!
- He's starting to pick up after himself, asking, "That make Momma happy?" YES, it does!
- Speaking of, the other day at high school, he was they only kid who helped pick up a big pile of papers that had fallen. He did it without being asked! His prize was getting to take his nap in the little tent!
We haven't had time to mess Hank up much yet, but we will start therapy funds for both kids ASAP (right after we start those college funds...). Oops! Another thing for the first list!

Don't worry... you will have plenty more good and bad moments... and, there will probably be more bad with Atti than with Henry! We learn as we go!
