- There are the usual stalling tactics- extreme hunger (but my tummy's not full!), extreme thirst (this one is indulged by a sippy of water), extreme need to have all toys in a cardboard box by bed (then the need to have the box dragged out into the living room each morning), trying to convince me that it's not dark outside, it's actually wake up time... sigh.
- I've talked with Atticus about how we need to sleep so that we have energy the next day to play. A couple of nights ago, I was helping him settle down when he said, "I don't need to sleep, I already have energy!" He popped up out of bed, started jumping around and yelling, "I'm a bogo (pogo) stick!" Double sigh.
- Tonight I was in with Hank and I heard Atticus making some noises. He comes into find me. He's in a diaper. And a pilgrim hat. That's it. Triple sigh.
- Hank has his own challenges, but he can't talk yet, so they aren't quite as cute in print!
