Good parenting moment: Sleep Fairy

My dear sweet boy has a hard time going to sleep. Sometimes it takes TWO HOURS!!!!! for him to settle down. I have an established routine. He watches no TV after dinnertime. The lights are low. His brother is already asleep. I've followed all the advise I can find. The latest ParentMap had a great article about sleep, particularly for the preschool set. So, tonight I told Atticus I heard the Sleep Fairy is in town. She will leave him a treat, but ONLY AFTER he is asleep. He went straight to his bed, laid down, closed his eyes and was asleep in 10 minutes. No kidding.

True to her word, the Sleep Fairy showed up. I'm guessing that she'll be around for as long as she is needed! I hope she has a good stash of treats!
