I never want to forget.

It's amazing how quickly they grow! This week Henry went to the doctor for his month well-child visit. He weighed in at a whopping 15lb, 2 oz!! That's the 97th percentile. He's a short, pudgy guy (height was only 40th percentile). No wonder my back's been sore!

I want to remember how snuggly Hank is. He loves cuddling up and falling asleep. I also want to remember how delicious he smells! Any how he'll stop in the middle of nursing for a giant smile. And how he's already in 6 - 12 month clothes. And how sweet-natured he is. And how he likes to be involved in dinner time. No bouncy seat for him! He wants to be right up at the table with everyone else. I know this sweet baby time won't last forever. I am really enjoying it!

Atticus is an amazing guy, too and still seems to change week to week. Here are some things to remember about Atticus right now:
  • When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he says simply, "a crocodile".
  • He calls flamingos, mangoes.
  • His favorite book is "Green eggs and Cam".
  • In the bath the other night, he put my wide-toothed comb up in the spout lengthwise. It took me a few tries before I realized he was saying, "A mustache for the bathtub!"
  • It usually takes at least 10 sprints from his bedroom at bedtime before he gives up and goes to sleep.
  • He always tells on himself. "I pushed Arlo today. It make him sad." "Why did you push Arlo?" "Because, yeah."
  • He does an excellent impression of Mr. Loparte from Handy Manny.
I love watching my babies grow, but don't want it to happen so quickly!
