Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying good company, good food and good wine.
It's been a tough year, but I am thankful for my very supportive family (who would do anything for me. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know and if I could afford it I would send you all on month-long trips to Hawaii- so you could get a break from me and my kids!!), my two beautiful sons and friends who never get tired of hearing me complain. I'm thankful I have a roof over my head (even if it's tiny), food to eat, a flexible and stable (fingers-crossed) job, loving and generous caregivers for my kids while I'm working and very caring neighbors. I'm also thankful that 2008 is almost over.
To all those who hang out with me on Wednesday nights, who read my blog, who provide desk-side therapy, who offer to bake me cookies, who hug me at just the right time, who feed me, who come up/down for the weekend to hang out with us, who chat with me on facebook, who humor my Martha Stewart-like mania, who call just because, who love me- I owe you a drink. Make it a double.

I am thankful that we did reconnect though. I hope your 2009 is better!
Well said Emily. Even though we are not close you still have a special place in my heart-reserved with your name on it. I read the blog all the time and happy to read all the news on the boys.
