When we were first married (ages ago!) Jeff and I used to love sitting around and reading Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. We had a few of the books and enjoyed passing them back and forth when we found a particularly funny one. I remember saying that when we had kids, I hoped that we would have a boy like Calvin.
What was I thinking?
Atticus is two and he's already started a fire, cultivated quite an individual personality and sees the world in a completely unique way.
Be careful what you wish for. I think we might be in for quite a ride with this one!

We can NOT get him and Savannah together. They would probably conceive of an evil plan to take over the world (at 2).
Playing catch up on the blog..Totally adorable stuff to read, thank you for being faithful even if it's a snippet here or there. Love the pictures.
My goodness, you have a lot of energy.
"Heiny's? cute name for diapers. Too funny...
I'm in love with Atticus's personality and I haven't even met the little darling...he reminds me of me. (my unique way of looking at the world..)
Thinking of you and Jeff and praying for you.
Love,
Annie
i just caught up on your blog! Hank is ADORABLE! He is GINORMOUS! And your little Atticus is so funny! I am proud of you for using cloth diapers. I have often wondered if I had it in me. My mom used cloth diapers for all of her kids but the last three. Crazy! I totally understand about the nursing mommy thing too. I could eat all day long, No joke, and never get full. Hence, the 18 pounds I need to lose still. I just wish cookies weren't so dang good!
