Be very careful how you word things...
One way to help Atticus out of a bad mood is to gently pinch his tummy with "crab claws" and ask him if he has any crabs in there. It almost always earns me a smile and he pulls out of his mood. Well, I've learned that you have to be careful how you word things. Henry had a rough day after his 4 mo shots and Atticus plainly stated, "Hank has crabs."
